Companies view a holiday party as a nice way to reward their employees.\u00a0 Employees often view it as something entirely different.\u00a0 Depending on prior experiences, they may view it as the dreaded holiday office party.\u00a0 Well, you can change that by planning carefully and considering the group of people you are entertaining.<\/p>\n

  3. 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Get it catered.\u00a0 <\/strong>I would say that most employees look forward to the food and alcohol the most.\u00a0 So if you have any extra money, put it towards the catering.\u00a0 If you have a very low budget for the party, then you can always opt for potluck.\u00a0 This is a great way to share family recipes and enjoy some new recipes.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. 4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Set a theme.\u00a0 <\/strong>It may seem like most of the employees are not willing to participate, but if you make it mandatory, then they will end up having a lot of fun with it.\u00a0 An example can be an ugly holiday sweater party.\u00a0 The employees may be reluctant, but it\u2019s sure to create a fun buzz and a lot of laughs.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. 5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Plan Activities. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This is another example of something the employees may not want to participate in, but activities are an icebreaker and will prevent people from sitting in corners and hiding with their little groups.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. 6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Music.\u00a0 <\/strong>Whether you have the budget for a DJ, or you play music on your own MP3 player and speaker system, make sure you have music.\u00a0 Music will set the tone for the party and you can make it be whatever you want.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
